Go to Home Line and Paragraph Spacing, and then choose Line Spacing Options. In Word for Mac, go to the Search box and enter ^l. In the Replace With text box, enter ^p. Note: To have the first word of a sentence and proper nouns (such as, California or Tim) automatically capitalized as you type, select the “Capitalize words automatically” checkbox in the Text pane of Keyboard preferences.
